Overview
Events are automated WhatsApp messages sent to guests at different stages.
To use Events, ensure your PMS is connected to Visito. This integration allows us to automatically send WhatsApp messages using guest numbers collected during the reservation process from OTAs or your reservation engine.
Event Types:
- Booking Confirmation - Sent within minutes of reservation.
- Before Arrival - Sent 2 days prior to guest arrival.
- During Stay - Sent after check-in. Request activation by emailing: [email protected].
- After Departure - Sent 1 day after check-out.
Getting Started
- Connect your channels (ensure WhatsApp is active).
- Connect your PMS to Visito (Review process here: Integrations: https://visito.notion.site/Visito-Knowledge-Hub-96ea132eb5dd4a13b8a9f1a6c2e80fd7?pvs=4)
- Request Event activation via email: [email protected].
- Activate Events in the “Status” toggle.

- Log In: Access your Visito account: https://app.visitoai.com/auth/login
2. Navigate to Events: Go to the Events page: https://app.visitoai.com/outbound
3. Select Event: Click “View Event” for the type you want to edit.
4. Modify Template: Click “Modify Template.” ****
5. Edit Message:
- Languages: Edit messages in both English and Spanish.
- Tags: Use pre-configured tags to include relevant guest information.
- Body: Write your message here. Include tags for guest details and add emojis if desired.
- Preview: Check how the message will appear to guests.
6. Submit Changes: Click “Submit Changes” to save.
⚠️ Meta Restrictions:
- Changes reflect within 24 hours.
- Each Event can be modified twice a month.</aside>
