The Movement Lab

How The Movement Lab more than doubled bookings from WhatsApp and Instagram

The Movement Lab’s customers were already using WhatsApp and Instagram to ask about classes. Visito gave them a way to automate the entire booking flow over messaging.

How The Movement Lab more than doubled bookings from WhatsApp and Instagram

The Movement Lab runs a packed schedule across three studios

Customers can now see what’s available, pay for the class they want, and have their spot reserved in the booking system.

The Movement Lab runs three studios across Cape Town, with a packed schedule of Reformer, Cadillac, Mat, Barre, Rebounding and Strength classes.

Keeping that schedule full means helping a lot of people find the right class. Many of those conversations start with a message asking what class is available today, which studio has space, or which class would be a better fit.

Visito connects those conversations directly to Glofox. Customers can check availability, pay and book while they are still chatting with the studio.

“People can see what’s available and book while they’re already chatting with us. It’s much more efficient for our customers and also saves our team a lot of back and forth.”

Interested customers were dropping off before they booked

Most people messaging The Movement Lab had already decided they wanted to take a class. They needed help finding a studio and a time that worked.

The team would open Glofox, check the schedule and send the available options back to the customer. Once the customer chose a class, the team still had to arrange payment and finish the booking.

That process became harder to manage around a busy fitness schedule. Instructors were teaching, classes were filling up, and new messages kept coming in.

Some customers waited for a reply, and others dropped out before the booking was completed.

Customers can now book directly in the chat

Visito’s agents are now connected directly to Glofox and to the studio’s messaging channels.

When someone asks about a class, the agent checks the current schedule and brings the available options into the conversation. The customer chooses the class they want and pays in the chat.

Visito then writes the reservation into Glofox, where it appears with the studio’s other bookings. The payment is deposited into The Movement Lab’s bank account.

The customer gets a confirmed spot during the same conversation. The team only steps in whenever someone needs extra help.

The same team now handles more than twice as many bookings

Since launching Visito, The Movement Lab has more than doubled the number of bookings coming from WhatsApp and Instagram. They did this without hiring more people to manage the conversations.

That’s critical for a local business running a full schedule across several studios. Availability changes throughout the day, and every location has its own classes, instructors and capacity. Visito reads that information from Glofox each time a customer asks.

A person can message the studio, find an open class and pay while their interest is fresh. The reservation is already waiting in Glofox when the team comes in.

The Movement Lab can handle more booking conversations with its current team. The staff spend less time moving between messages, payments and Glofox while Visito takes care of the bookings.

“We wouldn’t be able to run our operations without the help of Visito. It’s like having a brand new reservation and support team that works around the clock.”
